According to the weather department, there are high chances of heat in the north-west this summer. Due to heatwaves, people of all age groups can be at risk of heat-related diseases and heatstroke. According to scientists, the monsoon is decreasing and El- Niño is also getting weaker. Due to which Asia is experiencing hot and dry weather and America is experiencing heavy rains.

The severe heat in Pakistan is also affecting India.

What is the record for heatwave?

There is a record for heatwave when the temperature in plains is mostly 40 degrees, in hilly areas 30 degrees , in coastal areas 37 degrees, when the deviation from the normal maximum temperature is at least 4.5 degrees.

The temperature has reached 50 degrees in many cities of India. Not only in India but in the world everyone is troubled by the heat. A study has revealed that people have had to bear heat for 26 more days this year compared to last year.

All this has happened due to climate change.

According to scientists, if there was no climate change, there would not have been so much heat.

Last year, the highest heat was recorded. The main reason for this is the burning of fossil fuels.

The study has found that 80 percent of the world's population has been facing excessive heat since last May.

The study has revealed that if we had not heated the Earth, this situation would not have arisen. The amount of difference in heat is different everywhere.

In some countries, there was more heat for one or two weeks. In many countries like Indonesia, Colombia, etc., the heat was at least 120 days.

Climate change has been prepared by three groups. It includes Climate Central, Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Center and World Weather Attribute.

This was revealed in a study done in India
Looking at the rising temperatures, a research by IIT Bhubaneswar found that due to urbanization, most of the nights in 140 cities of India are 60 percent hotter than their surrounding non-urban areas.
