Climate Resilience Building among Farmers through Crop Residue Management!
The project named as “Climate Resilience Building among Farmers through Crop Residue Management”, has been launched by the Union Ministry of Environment under the guidance of under National Adaptation Fund for Climate Change (NAFCC). The project was launched on 28th of December, 2017 which was been legalized during the meeting with the National Steering Committee on Climate Change (NSCCC) under the guidance of Mr. C.K Mishra, the chairmanship of Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The initial phase of the project has been approved at a budget of Rs.100 Crores funded by the collaboration of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab Government. This project has an objective of climate mitigation and enhancing the capacity including the severe impact of the changing climate that might lead to burning.
