How many languages were originally recognised by the Constitution as regional languages

There are 22 languages were originally recognized by the Constitution as regional languages.  There 14 languages in the Constitution but later on 8 more languages were add to the list, First here I am providing the 14 names of languages and later the 8 names:-

This is the 14 names

  1. Assamese 
  2. Bengali 
  3. Gujarati
  4.  Hindi 
  5. Kannada 
  6. Kashmiri 
  7. Malayalam 
  8. Marathi 
  9. Oriya
  10. Punjabi 
  11. Sanskrit 
  12. Sindhi 
  13. Tamil
  14. Telugu

These are 8 languages later add on the list..

  1. Bodo
  2. Santhali
  3. Maithili
  4. Urdu
  5. Konkani
  6. Nepali
  7. Manipuri (Meitei)
  8. Dogri
