The American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE) founded in 1884. And it's existed from 1884 through 1962.
After that, it's merged with the Institute of Radio Engineers (IRE) to form the Institute Of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 1963. It's was the US (United State) based organization of Electrical Engineers.
