Which city to host the ASEAN India Connectivity Summit (AICS)?

Considering the activities happening in India under the East Policy Act in South-East Asia, New Delhi will have an Asean-India Connectivity Summit (AICS) on December 11-12 on the subject "Fueling Digital and Physical Linkages for Asia in the 21st Century", the External Affairs Ministry said on Saturday.

The occasion comes in front of the visit of the pioneers of the 10 part conditions of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) here one month from now for the dedicatory summit of 25 years of the India-Asean discourse organization.  

In a memorable to begin with, the 10 pioneers will all in all be the central visitors at one year from now's Republic Day festivities here.  

The Asean includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.  

As indicated by the External Affairs Ministry proclamation, Road Transport, Highways, and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari, Communications Minister Manoj Sinha, and Ministers of State for External Affairs M.J. Akbar and V.K. Singh will go to the two-day occasion.  

From the Asean, Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam, and Cambodia's Secretary of State in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport Tauch Chankosal will be available.  

The support of Vietnam and Cambodia expect hugeness as talks are on to broaden the proposed India-Myanmar-Thailand trilateral thruway to Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Malaysia also.  

As per the External Affairs Ministry articulation, "the AICS means to quicken existing network prospects, distinguish issues of concern, advance reasonable strategy proposals and create systems to upgrade monetary, modern and exchange relations amongst Asean and India".  

"Its concentration regions are framework, roadways, delivery, advanced, back, vitality and flight," it said.
