Addressing the audience Mr. Kovind said Ayurveda is an integrated part of our healthy living and also a paramount for our medical system. It takes a unified approach to the spiritual, physical, social and mental facet of the Human Body along with their entwine.

Well, he also stated that Yoga and Ayurveda are been explored via the communication between the body and mind. The aspect of having a healthy mind and body is a dynamic one. Hence, he promoted this fact and motivated the youths to concentrate on the aspect of having both and mental and physical human personality.

He quoted that India been the mother of all the essential herbs and medicinal plants. Thus, round 90% of it comes from these mountain, forests and villages. Approximately more than 5000 herbs are present in the woodlands. Hence, it is needed that these resource should be preserved and protected. Thus folk should be conscious about the protection of these medicinal herbs and plants.

The specialist of Ayurveda were articulated on this event by the President and he quoted that nowadays the urban lifestyle related diseases are affecting society briskly, and the world is having an eye over a medicine substitute from India. Here comes the role of an Ayurveda where he gave the huge responsibility to all the ayurvedic specialist for establishing the kingdom of ayurveda for treatment, management and prevention of such kind of diseases.

This award was instituted by Ramnarayan Vaidya Ayurved Research Trust in the year of 1982 which is been considered each year to honor the young talents consisting of cash prize worth Rupees two lac and an idol of Dhanwantari and excerpts.
