What is GSTN?

• The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) is a non-profit organisation that will provide shared IT infrastructure and services to both the federal and state governments, as well as taxpaying citizens and other stakeholders. GSTN will provide all taxpayers with front-end services such as registration, returns, and payments. It will serve as a link between the government and the general public.
• The GST System Project is a one-of-a-kind and complicated IT project. It is unique in that it aims to provide a unified tax payer interface as well as a single and shared IT infrastructure between the federal government and the states for the first time.
