My laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery, so I’ve started using a USB-C charger when travelling instead of carrying its larger factory adapter. The wattage is within the laptop’s stated requirements, but I’m unsure whether frequent USB-C charging affects battery health differently.
Is the charger type itself relevant, or do charging temperature, power level, and battery management matter more? I’d appreciate experiences from people who have used both options over time.
