Is a Small Difference Between Left- and Right-Arm Blood Pressure Normal?

When I take a blood pressure reading on each arm, the numbers aren’t always exactly the same. The difference seems small, but I don’t know whether that’s just ordinary variation or a sign that I should mention it to a clinician.

How much can readings vary between arms because of measurement technique or timing, and what’s a reliable way to compare them? I’m asking about general guidance, not trying to diagnose myself from one set of readings.
