I replaced the featured image on a page, but when I paste its link into Facebook, the old thumbnail still appears. The page itself shows the new image, and the link works normally.
Is this usually a Facebook link preview cache issue, or can incorrect Open Graph metadata make the old image stick around? I’m also curious how long a preview can remain outdated and what details are worth checking before I try sharing the link again.
