When I practise UPSC Mains questions at home, I can usually write a detailed answer, but I struggle to keep the same pace across a full paper. I either spend too long on the first few answers or rush the final ones.
How do you decide when an answer is complete enough to move on? I’d be interested in practical approaches to time allocation in UPSC Mains, especially for candidates whose handwriting speed is average rather than particularly fast.
