A few of our Facebook Reels pick up views, but almost all the activity seems to come from people who already follow the page. Other clips with similar topics get shown to a much wider audience, so I’m having trouble figuring out what the view count actually tells us.
When a Reel has Facebook Reels views but low reach among non-followers, which metrics are worth checking next? Could watch time, early skips, or how the video was shared explain the difference? I’m looking for a way to compare posts without assuming that views alone mean the content is being recommended broadly.
