Images that look sharp in my phone gallery sometimes appear softer or more heavily compressed after I post them on X. I notice it most with screenshots containing small text and photos with fine detail.
Does X process uploads differently depending on image dimensions, file format, or whether the image was edited on a phone? I’m trying to work out whether there’s a reliable way to keep images readable without making the file unnecessarily large.
