I’ve noticed that readings taken on my left and right arms can differ, even when I take them within a few minutes of each other. Sometimes the gap is small; other times it is large enough to make me wonder which number I should record.
How much variation can come from measurement technique or timing, and when is a repeated difference worth discussing with a clinician? I’m not looking for a diagnosis, just a clearer sense of how people interpret this kind of reading.
