My current-affairs notes are getting too long to revise, and I’m not sure which details are actually worth retaining for Prelims. A single news item can lead to several dates, reports, organisations, schemes, and bits of background.
How do you decide what to keep without reducing a topic to a vague one-line summary? I’m looking for a practical way to connect news to the static syllabus and avoid collecting facts that are unlikely to help with a question.
