My laptop display looks steady at higher brightness, but starts flickering when I turn it down in the evening. I notice it most on a dark background, and it happens whether I’m plugged in or running on battery.
Could this be related to the display’s dimming method, a graphics driver, or a refresh-rate setting? I’d like to narrow down whether this is a software issue I can test or a hardware fault that needs repair.
