My Android phone’s display looks normal at medium and high brightness, but at the lowest settings I sometimes notice a faint flicker or pulsing, particularly on grey backgrounds. It’s more obvious in a dark room and doesn’t seem tied to a particular app.
Could this be related to the display’s dimming method, or should I suspect a panel or software fault? If others have seen low-brightness screen flicker, did it happen at a consistent brightness level, and did changing display settings make any difference?
