My phone keeps showing a moisture warning when I plug in a USB-C cable, even though the port looks dry and the phone hasn’t been near water. The alert clears eventually, but it’s happened with more than one cable.
What can trigger a USB-C moisture warning besides obvious water exposure? I’d like to distinguish a cable or port issue from something that needs attention, without poking around in the connector or dismissing a warning that could be genuine.
