I submitted a text post to a subreddit, and it still appears on my profile. But when I sort the community by New, I cannot find it. Opening the direct link while logged out shows the title, but the post body appears as removed.
I have not received a removal message, and I do not want to keep reposting if that will make things worse.
- Can Reddit spam filters remove a post without sending the author a notification?
- Is there a way to distinguish an automated removal from a moderator decision or a post waiting for approval?
- What information should I include when contacting the moderators?
I am particularly confused about whether visibility on my own profile tells me anything about the post’s actual status in the community.
