How Can I Let a Freelancer Manage My Facebook Page Without Giving Them Full Control?

I need a freelancer to publish posts and reply to comments on our business Facebook Page. They do not need to run ads, change ownership settings, or give other people access.

The access options are confusing because I see references to Facebook access, task access, and permissions in Meta Business Suite. I want them to work through their own account, not share my login.

  • Which permissions cover publishing and community management without allowing changes to Page access?
  • Does the choice depend on whether they work directly on Facebook or through Meta Business Suite?
  • When the contract ends, where should I check to make sure their access has actually been removed?

Is there a practical way to review Facebook Page access permissions before sending an invitation, so I can avoid granting more access than the job requires?
