I have a USB-C charger that charges my phone normally, but when I connect it to my laptop, the laptop either shows no charging indicator or says it is charging very slowly. The connector fits, so at first I assumed the charger should work for both.
Could this come down to the charger’s wattage, the cable, or the laptop’s particular USB-C port? I’m trying to work out what to check before buying another adapter. Is there a straightforward way to confirm whether a charger supports the power requirements of a laptop, especially when the labels only show volts and amps?
