Why Does My Car’s Tire Pressure Warning Appear on Cold Mornings?

My tire-pressure warning sometimes comes on first thing in the morning, then disappears after I’ve driven for a while. The tires look fine, and the alert doesn’t seem to return on warmer days.

Is this usually a genuine slow leak, a sensor issue, or a normal response to colder air? I’d like to know how to interpret a cold-morning tire pressure warning and when it’s worth having the tire or TPMS checked.
