I changed a page title several days ago, and the new version is live when I open the page. Google’s result still shows the old wording, though. Is this usually just a matter of waiting for another crawl, or can Google decide to display a different title even after it has indexed the update?
I’m also wondering whether the page’s main heading or links from other sites can influence the title shown in search. How do you tell the difference between a delayed update and Google rewriting a result?
