I can see my recent comments on my Reddit profile, but when I open the subreddit post they were made on, the comments aren’t there. This has happened in more than one community, and I’m not sure whether the comments are being removed, filtered, or just taking a while to appear.
Is there a reliable way to tell the difference between a moderator removal, an automated filter, and a display or account issue? I’m especially interested in what clues are visible to the person who wrote the comment, rather than what moderators can see.
