As India puts its data-protection framework into practice, I’m wondering what an ordinary app user should actually expect to see. Will consent notices become clearer about what information an app collects and why, or will people still be faced with long terms they quickly accept?
I’m also curious how the rules may affect consent for children’s accounts and whether users will have a practical way to change their minds later.
