LinkedIn is like facebook but for jobs and work people. When we open LinkedIn we dont see all the posts from everyone. There is a special system called algorithm. This algorithm decides what post comes on our feed. It looks at who we talk to more, like if we like or comment on someone’s post, then we will see more from that person.

Also it shows things that are popular. If many people like or comment on a post, then LinkedIn thinks it must be important. So it puts that on our feed also. The algorithm also checks what kind of jobs or skills we search for. If we search about coding or design, then it shows us more posts about coding or design.

Sometimes it also shows ads, which is like companies paying money to show us their posts. Even if we dont follow them we still see it.

So basically it is not random. It is like LinkedIn is trying to guess what we will like or find useful. Sometimes it feels good, because we see important posts. But sometimes we miss posts from people we really want to see. Still, the algorithm always keeps changing to make the feed better.
