How can I register to vote in Election 2024?

If you mean the U.S. general election held in November 2024, voter registration for that election has closed. You can’t register retroactively, but you can register for an upcoming election.

In the U.S., registration rules depend on your state. Check Vote.gov to find your state’s election office and its instructions for online voter registration, paper forms, or registering in person. The site also points you to information about voter eligibility requirements and registration deadlines.

If you’re asking about a different country’s 2024 election, or want to register for an upcoming election, share your country and state or region—the process and deadlines vary by location.
