The Jammu and Kashmir administration reached an agreement with New Zealand to modernize the Union territory's sheep farming economy.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Navin Choudhary, senior secretary of agricultural produce and farmers protection ministry animal, virtually accepted the contract.

The major purpose of the deal is to raise farmer income, impart innovation in study and improvement, and sell and value add Jammu and Kashmir sheep goods. 'We attach distinctive significance to our links not just because of close bonds and cultural similarities, but also because of a mature understanding of our strategy intersections, interests around the world, and growing economy,' they said.


According to authorities, this year commemorates the 70th anniversary of the two nations' establishment of bilateral relations.


'It provides us with a chance to enhance our connection and our will to build a solid superstructure of a long-term, mutually rewarding commercial connection,' they added.
