The World Conference on Sustainable Development 2022 (WSDS 2022) is a three-day summit conducted by TERI (a research centre in Delhi, India) with engagement from over 100 countries. This would come to an end on February 18.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a New Delhi-based research facility specialising in power, the ecosystem, and environmental sustainability. It was initially named as the Tata Energy Research Institute and was founded in 1974. In 2003, it was redesignated The Energy and Resources Institute to reflect the broadening of its operations.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, gave the opening talk at The Energy and Resources Institute's (TERI) World Sustainable Development Summit. Among those attending were Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Mr. Luis Abinader, President of the Dominican Republic, Ms. Amina J Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Union Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav. The 21st WSDS will be held from February 16th to February 18th, 2022. This year's summit topic is 'Towards a Resilient Planet: Ensuring a Sustainable and Equitable Future.'
