India's first Dinosaur Museum cum Park was inaugurated in Gujarat's district of Mahisagar. The museum will give visitors the true feeling of being in Jurassic Park.

The museum, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani at Raiyoli near Balasinor. The Dinosaur Museum will make the exhibition of remains of various dinosaurs and fossil records which have been found till date from the nearby area. It has been claimed that the museum will become the country's first such museum and the world's third park which features Dinosaur only. This Dinosaur Museum is fully equipped with numerous Modern Technologies like 3D Projection, Virtual Reality Presentations, interactive kiosks, and life-size dinosaur replicas to give a real and lifetime experience to its visitors.

The Gujarat State Government has even announced to allocate Rs 10 Crore to promote the site at International level. However, the efforts are being made to promote the Museum and Park all over the World for enhancing the tourism purpose. Raiyoli village is very famous all over the world for being the second largest dinosaur hatchery. From this village around 10000 dinosaur eggs were found. The village is also popular for being the third largest fossil site of dinosaur in the world.

The museum exhibit around 50 model sculptures of Dinosaurs, including one life-size Rajasaurus Narmadensis. The fossil of this dinosaur was found in Gujarat as well. The Museum has a lot to offer to those who are very keen on exploring the ancient reptile with detailed information from their origin to extinction. The interest of people and popularity and curiosity of people learning about the extinct animals give a new dimension to making the Museum theme based on Dinosaur.
