Under this scheme, the government will provide employment for youth. The scheme guarantees 100 days of employment every year to urban youths belonging from the economically weaker sections. In this employment phase, the candidates will be given the skill development training so that they become independent in the future.
The government is having a target and has mentioned that already about 1.5 lakh urban youths have registered themselves under this scheme to benefit themselves. After enhancing the skill the government is further aiming towards inviting companies which will provide the full-time employment to the trained youths under this scheme.
