Right now I am using Facebook but yeah I deactivated it once so I can pour my experience here in this answer…..!

So, yeah I deactivated my profile 2 years ago when I got the date sheet for my board exams. The reason why I was more into the Facebook was my new phone Nokia Lumia 710 which was the best device one could have in the and surprisingly my parents gifted me one.

It was really special thing for me and I used to flaunt my phone and compared with my other mates just to make them feel jealous… kind of kiddy things ha ha ha…..!

And those were the time when I realized and noticed that social networks which I am using are adversely affecting my lifestyle. Lack of concentration in work, study, paying attention towards important stuff were some of the basic symptoms you can say.

Well, Facebook wasn’t the only social networks which were affecting my lifestyle as there were others too like Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp but Facebook was the social networks which I was using the most.

So right after I got the date sheets for the board exams I just realized that my grades could get ruin and for the sake of future, I need to deactivate my Facebook account and other social networks too at least for few days.

Listing down the things which changed when I deactivated my Facebook profile:

  • I was satisfied with my results in the boards as I focused a lot in my preparation.
  • Read so many novels which helped me a lot in taking important decisions in life under different circumstances and situation.
  • Found myself more active and present in family get-togethers and actively participated in giving an opinion in an important discussion which happens family.
  • And the last thing …. I as I am a music lover I got to spend plenty of time with my guitar.

Now I am actively using Facebook I don’t think it affects me the way it did 2 years back.
