Goa is the state which hosted the 6th edition of India’s premier open water swimming competition which is renowned as” Swimathon”. Every year this” Swimathon” is been conducted by the SFI (swimming federation of India) and this whole event is organized to opt out swimmers for the selection at a national level.
This year it started from 3 December 2017 at Colva beach which is located in South Goa, the whole tournament was categorized into 4 categories which were for both for men and women. More than 1000 swimmers of all around from different states took part in this competition.
