Chittaranjan Das was one of the most influential political leaders of his time. He was popularly known as the political guru of Subhas Chandra Bose. Das was a strong advocate of complete independence for India. He believed that India could only progress if it was free from the British rule.

Das was born in a wealthy Bengali family in 1869. He studied law in England and started his own law firm in Kolkata. He soon became involved in the Indian National Congress and the fight for India's independence. Das was a close friend ofMahatma Gandhi. He was also a mentor to Subhas Chandra Bose. Bose was greatly inspired by Das and his ideals. Das played a key role in shaping Bose's political thoughts.

Das was a brilliant speaker and an excellent organizer. He was instrumental in starting the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1920. This was a mass movement against the British rule. Das was arrested several times by the British authorities. He was even exiled from India for a period of time. But he always came back and continued his fight for India's independence.

Das passed away in 1925. But his legacy continues to inspire people even today. He is remembered as one of the greatest leaders of India's freedom struggle. His death was a huge blow to the Indian independence movement. 

Bose was deeply saddened by Das's death and vowed to continue the fight for independence. In the years that followed, Bose emerged as one of the most important leaders of the independence movement. He played a key role in the Quit India movement of 1942 and the formation of the Indian National Army. 

Bose's relationship with Das was very close and intimate. Bose saw Das as a father figure and a mentor. Das had a profound influence on Bose and helped to shape his political ideas.
