  • Internet Protocol Configuration is abbreviated as ipconfig. This command displays all of the computer's current TCP/IP network configuration values. In the Microsoft Windows operating system, the ipconfig command is primarily used. However, React OS and Apple Mac OS both support it.
  • ifconfig stands for Interface Configuration. This command is similar to ipconfig in that it displays all of the computer's current TCP/IP network setup values. In a Unix-like operating system, the ifconfig command is primarily utilised. Only the enabled configurations of networking devices currently connected to the system are displayed by the ifconfig command.
