The reason if you can not connect to Skype:

• Check that your device has a stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth.
• Make sure you're using the most recent version of Skype.
• Check to see whether your security software or firewall settings are obstructing Skype.
• Make sure your phone isn't turned off.
• If you're using an Android smartphone, ensure sure the Skype app hasn't been prohibited from accessing the internet.
• To make sure you have enough bandwidth, switch from cellular data to Wi-Fi.
• You must be connected, logged in, and have notifications enabled in the app, on your device, and by the network you are connected to in order to receive alerts.
