Steps to fix it:

  • Check to check if Chrome is open, and if it is, force it to close.-. On your keyboard, press 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'Del.' Select 'Task Manager' from the drop-down menu. If 'Google Chrome' or 'chrome.exe' is listed under 'Processes,' select it and then click 'End process.'
  • Unknown applications should be deleted.-Launch Chrome. Select 'Settings' from the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.. From the left-hand menu, choose 'Advanced.' Select 'Clean up computer' from the 'Reset and clean up' menu.. Select 'Find' from the drop-down menu. When requested to uninstall undesirable software, select 'Remove.'
  • Start your computer again.
  • Chrome should be uninstalled and reinstalled.-Chrome can be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix a variety of issues, including issues with your search engine, Flash, pop-ups, updates, and other issues that prevent Chrome from opening.
