To avert the chaos that surrounded the squash teams in 2018, the sports ministry has gone ahead of schedule this time. The government has accepted Chris Walker's employment as a foreign coach with three key competitions coming up, such as the Commonwealth and Asian Games.
Squash is a
racket and ball game played on a four-walled court by two players using a tiny, hollow rubber ball. The participants take shifts striking the ball with their rackets onto the court's 4 walls' striking areas. The goal of the
game is to strike the ball such that the opposition is unable to play a proper return. In over 185
countries, around 20 million individuals play squash daily. Squash's regulatory organization, the
World Squash Federation, is recognized by the International Olympic Committee, but despite many applications, the sport is not included in the Olympic Games. Supporters are still lobbying for its inclusion in a future
Olympic program. The pro tour is organized by the
Professional Squash Association. To distinguish it from the similar sport of rackets, the
sport is occasionally referred to as 'squash rackets.'
