the reasons why I can't update Google Chrome:
- Restart your computer.-A simple reboot can sometimes solve the problem because it resets all of the device's system processes.
- Examine your web connection.-To update everything through the PlayStore, you'll need a fast internet connection. If you have a decent internet connection but are still having problems, check using a third-party app to see if any other apps are utilising your data in the background.
- Turn off auto-updates for all apps.-If you have the option to update all apps automatically enabled, this may be the reason for the download problem.
- Clear the cache and storage on the Google Play Store.-There's a good chance that Play Store data will become damaged, leading app updates to fail. It's a good idea to clean the cache and storage of the Google Play Store after downloading and updating Google Chrome and Android System WebView from there.
- Chrome and Android System Webview should be uninstalled.-There's a good probability that the Android System Webview is causing the issue, and Chrome isn't updating as a result. To fix this, uninstall the Android System Webview app first. Because this is a system program, you won't be able to entirely uninstall it, but you can restore the factory settings. As a result, all prior updates can be uninstalled.
