Reasons Why can't I update Chrome on your Android:
- Tabs and apps that aren't in use should be closed.-In most circumstances, launching hundreds of tabs – whether active or not – can clog up your browser's speed and cause it to slow down. Close all tabs you're not using to free up your phone's RAM if Chrome keeps freezing or closing on your iPhone or Android smartphone. On your phone, open the Chrome app.
- To see all active tabs, use the Tabs overview icon. Swipe away any tabs that aren't relevant to you to close them. You can also utilise the Close all tabs option if you have a lot of them. Then, as previously said, restart Chrome to see if the problem has been resolved.
- Chrome updates should be installed.- Go to the Google Play Store and look for Google Chrome. To see if it fixes the problem, click the program from the search result and then press Launch Chrome after updating it. Try resetting the Google Play Store app from the device's settings.
- Go to Apps & Notifications in Settings. See the whole list of apps. From the list, locate and pick Google Play Store. Clear the two options by tapping Storage and Data. Restart your device and try again to update Google Chrome.
