  • You upgraded to a new version of Google Chrome for Windows 10 and observed that the UI of Google Chrome had unexpectedly changed to a new Dark Mode or Dark Theme (User Interface). Without your permission, the title bar, toolbar, menus, and everything else turned dark or black.
  • When you disable Dark app mode in Windows 10 via the Settings -> Personalization -> Colors page, Dark Mode in theGoogle Chrome web browser is also disabled.
  • If you've installed a dark mode theme, you'll need to change it in the browser's settings. : On your computer, launch Google Chrome. : In the top-right area, click the three-dot menu. From the menu, choose Settings.- Next, pick Appearance from the left-hand sidebar. Select Themes from the drop-down menu. Select a Light theme from the themes menu, and you're ready to go.
