NASA’s "Artemis" program will make the mission successful by returning astronauts to the Moon for the first time in the last 50 years, including the eight scheduled launches and a mini-station in lunar orbit by 2024.

Administrator Jim Bridenstine confirmed the details be mentioning that Artemis 1 will be an uncrewed mission around the Moon planned for 2020. However, the next mission will come as Artemis 2, which will orbit around Earth's satellite with a limited crew around the year 2022. After this, the final and third in this continuation will be named as Artemis 3 which will put astronauts on lunar soil in the year 2024, including the first woman in the space under the project.

All three missions will be launched into space by the biggest rocket of all time, the Boeing-led Space Launch System (SLS). The full for of mission ARTEMIS is 'Acceleration, Reconnection, Turbulence, and Electrodynamics of the Moon's Interaction with the Sun. Under Artemis, in the near future NASA will be able to establish a sustainable human presence on the Moon by the year 2028 to uncover the new scientific discoveries by demonstrating the involved new technological advancements, and establish the foundation for private companies to build a lunar economy.
