“Artemis” is the Moon Mission 2024, was unveiled by the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
NASA’s "Artemis" program will make the mission successful by returning astronauts to the Moon for the first time in the last 50 years, including the eight scheduled launches and a mini-station in lunar orbit by 2024.
Administrator Jim Bridenstine confirmed the details be mentioning that Artemis 1
will be an uncrewed mission around the Moon planned for 2020. However, the next mission will come as
Artemis 2, which will orbit around Earth's
satellite with a limited crew around the year 2022
. After this, the final and
third in this continuation will be named as Artemis 3 which will put astronauts on lunar soil in the year 2024
, including the first woman
in the space under the project.
