The Archery World Cup Stage 3 of 2019 was organized at “Antalya in Turkey”.
The Archery World Cup Stage 3 was an Olympic Qualifying event. The 2019 Archery World Cup, is also known as the Hyundai Archery World Cup because Hyundai is the sponsors of this event championship. It is the 14th edition of the International Archery circuit which was organized annually by the World Archery every year. The 2019 Archery World Cup was consist of five events and was organized from April 22 to September 7, 2019.
The men's compound team of Rajat Chauhan, Abhishek Verma, and Aman Saini earned India a solitary bronze medal in the Archery World Cup Stage 3 on May 25, 2019. India led by five points at the halfway stage and managed to hold on to the lead to defeat Russia 235-230. India scored 59, 58, 59, 59 in the four rounds.
The Women’s team comprising Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Muskan Kirar and Swati Dudhwal lost despite enjoying a three-point lead in the first round. The women's team earned bronze medal playoff. India lost to Great Britain by 228-226 and finish at the fourth spot. Whereas, Great Britain women’s team came up with consistent scores of 58 in the next three rounds to take the bronze.
In the overall events, the eight quarterfinalists win full three-athlete quotas. And the top four individual athletes from nations not qualified in the team event collect a single berth for their respective countries.
