A firmware crash is the most common cause of a high-end smartphone like the iPhone becoming stuck on a blank and unresponsive screen. It can be fixed by doing a forced restart.


1. To do so, swiftly push and release the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons, then repeat.
2. Then, for the next 10 seconds, tap and hold the Power key. The phone will be forced to start up as a result of this.
3. When the Apple logo appears, release the power button and wait for your iPhone to reboot completely.

In the vast majority of situations, this technique will resolve the issue. So if you can get the logo to appear on the screen, it means the problem has been resolved.
