You may charge your
Mac notebook using any USB-C power adapter or display if your Mac employs USB-C for charging. Use the power adapter and cable that came with your Mac notebook to ensure the optimum charging experience.
You can also use a power adapter to charge your Mac notebook computer if you have one. Note: You can use both Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and USB-C cables with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C), Thunderbolt / USB 4, and Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) connections. You can only use USB-C cables with USB-C ports.
It can be plugged into any port like a USB cable, but unlike a magnetic charging cable, it does not click into place. Any USB-C cable should suffice. If you have a recent MacBook Pro, any USB-C charging cable will work, albeit the official charging cable is recommended.
