Make your Mac switch off and on repeatedly.
- Even when your Mac is connected to AC power and has a functional display, it may appear to be shut off. Follow the instructions below.
- For at least 10 seconds, press and hold the power button on your Mac, then release it. If your Mac is already turned on, this will force it to shut down.
- If nothing happens, push and release the power button on your Mac.
- If your Mac now powers up, so your problem is solved
