  • Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Network on your Mac.
  • Click the Add button at the bottom of the left-hand list, then select PPPoE from the Interface pop-up menu.
  • Choose an interface for the PPPoE service from the Ethernet pop-up menu — Ethernet if you're connecting to a wired network, or Wi-Fi if you're connecting to a wireless network — give it a name, and then click Create.
  • If your service provider requires it, enter the account name, password, and PPPoE service name that you obtained from your ISP.
  • Select 'Show PPPoE status in menu bar' if you wish to utilise the PPPoE status icon to connect or disconnect from the Internet or to open Network settings.
  • Click Advanced to set additional options, such as DNS or proxy server information, if necessary, and then click OK.
  • Apply the changes.
