FEBRUARY 18 2018 : When endeavors are being made to eliminate the no-no related with the subject of feminine cleanliness with expanded mindfulness, the Maharashtra government is good to go to reveal its "Asmita Yojana" on the International Women's Day one month from now. 

Under the plan, young ladies in Zilla Parishad schools will get a clean napkin parcel at Rs 5 while provincial ladies can profit it at a financed pace of ₹ 24 and ₹ 29. The plan, taking into account young lady understudies and ladies in country territories, will be officially dispatched on March 8.

CM Devendra Fadnavis and Bollywood entertainer Akshay Kumar will be available at the dispatch. Akshay's film "Padman", delivered as of late, imagined to make mindfulness about feminine cleanliness among rustic ladies. The Asmita Yojana was declared a year ago by Women and Child and Rural Development Minister Pankaja Munde.

The SHGs should secure sterile napkins from providers by enrolling on the Asmita portable application and circulate them to country ladies and young ladies according to the prerequisite and request," the authority stated, including that the SHGs concerned will procure ₹ 5 in benefit for each clean bundle.
