When was the International Monetary Fund (IMF) established?

The International Monetary Fund (IMF), is also known as the Fund, which was given birth at the UN Conference in July 1944 at Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, United States. The participation of the 44 countries at the conference would design a framework for economic cooperation to neglect the repetition of the fierce devaluations that had its hand for the Great Depression of the year 1930’s.
