The **International Monetary Fund (IMF)**, is also known as the Fund, which was given birth at the **UN Conference** in **July 1944** at **Bretton Woods**, **New Hampshire**, **United States**. The participation of the **44 countries** at the conference would design a framework for economic cooperation to neglect the repetition of the fierce devaluations that had its hand for the Great Depression of the year 1930’s.
